過得好開心一日, 其實我真的一點都沒有忸過, 或者嫌棄過... 真係好愛你們啊...友誼唔係靠記唔記得某個日子或某件事來衡量的... 真正的友誼如果存在的話, 就算係好久沒見, 見到了, 都會回到從前, 一說起話來..根本就像沒分開過的朋友一樣, 很自然的事... 這種朋友不需要靠常聯絡來維持這段友誼....依然係個句..朋友不需要多, 最重要要夠真....

If you have ever been to the restaurant, you will know that there is something known as Special of the Day and also the usuals...

Special of the Day is something that I eager look forward to, but sometimes the higher the expectation/ anticipation, the greater the disappointment, but its the secrecy and enjoyment that makes my heartbeat thump faster sometimes, I like special of the day but I have learnt not to expect anything so that anything additional will be like a bonus and make my day even more. usually, the special of the day are fine and I really like it. Its as if there is unspoken understanding. I am willing to quietly enjoy the special of the day without complaint even if there is any bad thing bout it, I will keep all the negatives to myself. Special of the day is special, otherwise it wouldnt be called so. The thing that I dun like is as the name suggests special of the DAY, it is only for that day, so it makes or breaks your day, special of the day can just disappear, cos it doesn't belong to me, it belongs to the chef. So no matter how u may look forward to it sometimes, it just doesnt appear again. Too bad. Sometimes, the special of the day comes in a set, you have no control over your appetizers, main course, nor dessert. Everything may seem so perfect for the appetizer and main course, but the dessert can spoil your day, which I dun like cos i dun really enjoy ending a day on a bad / disappointed note.

The usuals are safe because you know what to expect. A typical main course that I would order is Fish & Chips (now less, trying to be more health-conscious though sometimes i spoil myself) or some beef or fish main coourse. I seldom order chicken when I dine unless its really special cos to me chicken can be easily prepared so its not worth to eat it outside. What I like about the usuals is that It is something that I picked out for myself, that means I made the decision myself and thus I am responsible for whatever happens. Normally, the dish that i pick out is something that I geninuely like, I admit I am not really an adventurous person when eating out, my orders revolve around the same stuffs. I have a few all-time favourite that I rotate around. eating something that you took time to choose and pick for yourself gives me a sense of happiness and joy when my dish comes. even if the location changes when I go to different restaurants, i can always trust and count on my all time favourite to give me that same dining experience. i feel secured and safe. There is little worries. All time fav seems to understand me very well, they seem to never disappoint me even despite my mood. And the best thing about all time fav is that it almost always seem to end on a good note, with the perfect complementing dessert, enhancing the main course.

It has been a long time since I blogged on this blog. Sometimes, this is a place where I can escape. Sometimes I have been thinking too much and I am really too preoccupied with having to write the damn thesis lately that the smallest thing can easily cause me to throw my temper. I feel bad. I dun want it to end this way. Please don't let it be this way.

went to Carrefour with Joanne and Mandy today to do some grocery shopping, as usual we bought tonnes of stuffs and we even bring our suitcases along liao, but still its not enough, went to wait at the bus stop for the bus back, met an french old lady there, was having a nice chat with her, pretty surprised that i kind of understand what she was speaking even though she is speaking in french, probably because she speaks it real slow but a pity i wish i knew more french then i would have been able to really conversate with her cos i dun really know how to answer her back... she said she has been to hk four times already, thats a lot!!


and then another group of Chinese came over to wait at the bus stop too, and when the bus arrived all of us got on, after 3 or 4 stops, and ass it was approaching another stop, i caught sight of two bus ticket inspector at the stop waiting to get onto our bus to check our tickets. Apparently, I wasn't the only one with sharp eyes because the group of Chinese practically jumped from their seats and plurged towards the machine to get their bus tickets validated for the trip, and two of them even have to leap towards the bus driver to buy their tickets... even so, the inspectors caught two of them....

At that moment, my friends and I just wish we werent on the same bus as them, its just humiliating, I was pretty angry with them, its people like these who are like the few black sheeps among the white sheeps that will give others the impression that we Chinese are sneaky and love to cheat on small things, gives them the impression that we dun have intergity, we are dishonest, we cant be trusted judging from simple things, thats the way all the passengers will look at us, they wun see that the 3 of us Chinese as well were playing by the law...

hey guys,

i m in France now on my school's campus' computer barn, they use stoopid french keyboard, so everything is like damn different man, what nonsense is this, all the alphabets and symbols even the numbers cant be typed in their usual way, everything damn thing is in french, even sqmail for ust has become french on their login page, i got to learn french fast otherwise i will probably not survive for long here....missing everyone n everything back home, i got to add oil, classes start tml and so does the add drop period but the add drop system is sort of done half manually, teh weather sucks, it drizzles and everthing is irritating, i miss home.
