Today's not a pleasant day i dunno why.... or maybe i noe why just that i dun wanna face the reality but either day it doesnt seem like a good day for me.... first of all, the weather was turning cold.... n u noe it is one of those moments in which u dun really feel like getting out of bed to go for lessons... but not as if i got a choice... cos i got a quiz during the first lesson of the day.... so i gotta drag myself out of bed n outta hse...
the acct quiz was actually worse... i dont know anything man i really dunno... its like so unlike me... but i guess times have changed... this is another world tat i live in... i couldnt believe it myself but i really cant answer even the multiple choice needless to say the long questions.....
N now my sister says that i looked old.. well sobz man.... wateva i guess... i m too sad to botehr bout it i guess janice is rite.... expectation leads to disappointment... well no more expectations from now on...

High table dinner
went for the "apprentice" mentoring program high table dinner yesterday.... wasnt very excited bout going for it cos it was like kinda troublesome...glad that it was finally over... its held at happy valley aka the race course in hongkong... was kind of embarrassing cos we had to dress up at someone's hall n walk all the way out of campus n take a minivan to the nearest mtr (i know, its called mrt in singapore)station n then take a cab..... can actually feel glares on us when we were on the train..... thank god i dint travel there alone.. i would have just died... who tell us to be poor humans... thats why we have to take public transport... no money liao ... so sad....
but anyway, i end up having the same mentor as Erica... that makes us fellow mentees.....each mentor is assigned to 3 mentees... n my mentor is ms grace cheung... she's the district manager for AIA insurance.... and she has been in this profession for 20 years.....she is single but she keeps toking bout all her nieces n nephews n its obvious that she likes them a lor... she also travelled to many places before n that made me really jealous... i wanna go to.... she oso gave me the feeling of my late aunt... i dunn whether that is good or bad... maybe its becos she keeps toking bout the way she treats her nieces that reminded me of how my aunt pampered me too.....

well hopefully this mentoring thingy will be a successful thingy n not just meet once for that dinner n then never meet again that will b quite sad...
but the food at the dinner was not bad at all.... it was a buffet style dinner... but it was great ... we had milestone soup n bread... then we went for the cold plate... with salmon, tuna, egg sushi......then salmons.... n hams.... n salad greens n cheese n macoroni yumyum....den the main course there were beef, chickie... tempura stuffs... n manymany more..... and the best was yet to come.... the dessert was the best.. there were chocolate tiramisu, BUTTERSCOTCH pie, mirinda pudding, blueberry cheesecake, cinnamon cheerypie...... n all other kinds of fancy cakes which i forgot their names..... n oso the fruits were nice tooo they cut up all the fruits into tiny balls n oieces n i thought that it was a pretty good idea can get to eat many kinds of fruits ....
And oh my dad helped me took a photo of me at the hse ... u can probably make out how small my present home is.....
where i were standing is probably around midway of the entire length of my home... so its really pretty compact housing... well blogging has been a lot more fun n easier when i can upload photos i guess a photo really can speak a thousand words....

2nd "date" with Idy
today went to causeway bay with Idy so taht she can shop for a black dress for the high table dinner....wah she very rich lehz.... she saw this dress tat cost ard HKD688+++ (ard SGD152+++) and she managed to get her mum to pay for it lehz... so rich sia... this shows indeeed there is some rich-poor gap hahah....
But the shop owner called peter was such a nice person... he gave us a lot of tips n even taught us that wearing high heels wassnt just for the sake of wearing heels n look pretty.... well i didnt noe that before... or maybe i m just not well-informed or stoopid... he said that wearing heels will increase the ratio of lower body length to upper body length n make one look nicer in certain clothes.. welll i dint think that high heels were for that purpose at all... maybe i m short thats y to me high heels have only one purpose... make me taller... hahahah ... but sadly when everyone wears hells... i m of relative height to everyone again... hahah...
but anyway that shop owner was a nice person n agreed to becum one of the sponsor for the campus' business student union... i think he will give members a 5% or smthg .... but seriously, i still wouldnt buy from them cos after the 5% it is still to ex... hahaha ... but idy being part of the welfare team of the union is of cos happy to have clinched a deal... heehee

well tonight (cos past 12 midnight liao .. so sad) will be the high table dinner for the business union's mentoring program.... supposedly we r going to have a dinner with our mentor whom we will meet for the first time ... n this dinner costs me HKD200 ... so poor rite now.... gotta save on the following weeks meals to make up for this drain on my wallet... n wateva lor... their dress code for this event is ELEGANT FORMAL..... cos it is held at Happy Valley supposedly some high class place at the hongkong island.... so ma fan.... well i guess i better go sleep now n i will take more pics during the dinner n upload it ... well niteZ all

Dreams do come true.....
hahha i guess some dreams do come true after all... it was weird.... i was dreaming that my nose was developing some kind of farnie things and there was this big thing that is growing within my nose n i couldnt breathe at all.... and the next thing i knew when i woke up was that my nose felt a little painful....n when i looked in the mirror.. omigosh... i've got a pimple growing inside my nose....it isnt one of the most pleasant thing to be happening especially when i m going for a high table dinner tml night for the business mentoring program... my sis even said smthg awful bout it... dun even wanna mention it...it was some nasty comment..... but anyway i tried to burst it when i was bathing but then it grew even bigger... ArgHHHHHHHHHhhhhh.....

hahah okie finally, my usb port decides to work so here comes some pictures...
okie this is a picture of myself now... hahah so any difference? i doubt so ...probably just uglier and fatter... hahah its actually a picture i took inside the library when i was trying to do some self directed learning...which apparently didnt worked... cant really see form picture taht i highlighted my hair though ...
ooh and speaking of the library, the view form my campus library is AWESOME, it faces the big ocean n small small tiny island hahah i tried to take a picture of that next time ... how cool can that get... i m not sure if u can make that out from my poor photographic skills cos this one here is taken from a different side of teh library so cant really see the big sea only a small glimpse of it on the left.....
And this is a picture of my campus entrance..... it looks rather nice larhs actually... well just some vegattion n a supposedly huge red sundial (hope i spelt it correctly)....
And this is a view from my lecture hall... kinda of wuliao to take a picture w/o anyone in the Lt.. but anyway i bet those chairs in SMU, NTU, and NUS are much more comfortable than those here rite...

~phew...
went to meet my english language tutor yesterday morning .....when i knocked the door and entered... den he immediately started apologisinng: i m sorry i shldnt have doubt u....i m sorry..... was quite funny i expected a totally different reaction from him lor... hahah...den he explained say his email must be more harsh n threatening mah... sorry that he scared me or threw me into a panic...cos he say more threatening den the ppl who really cheated will turn themselves in willingly mah..so he hoped that i will understand... of cos i said i understood larhs ...... hahah so we had a little chat... n found him to be still the nice person that i thought he was... so he's pleased.. i m pleased.... and everything still turns out fine.....

It thus seems almost inevitable that local Low Cost Carriers (LCCs) will rise to challenge the existing dominating Big Three in China and join the fight for the expanding China aviation market.
The article is taken from the Air Transport World Magazine online. Its purpose is directed at providing updates on the trends and developments in the aviation world to the global and commercial air transport manufacturing communities. The writer is trying to highlight the enormous possibility of LCCs emerging in China and its implications on China as well as for the region and the aviation industry.
The writer, Geoffery Thomas, attempts to remain objective throughout the article by using a neutral tone and avoid making any biased personal judgments. He also made use of statistics and quotes as references for his opinions. He exercised caution to quote from different people such as that from the professor and director at the center of Air Law of China and the CAPA MD so as to account for a balance report on the issue.
While it might be true that competition between the traditional airlines and the emerging LCCs will be inevitable, it will be largely dependent upon the differentiated services that would be provided by the LCCs which will determinate how worthwhile it is to the consumers as a substitute for the existing traditional airlines. having ismt mid term later this evening and i m so unprepared for it... i know its all bout statistics which i should have studied before... but i guess all of ya should noe that my maths sucks... so basically studying it before doesnt give me any advantage over others... so sad...
went for interview at 8 last night with idy and erica for the accounting society's mentoring program... was kinda bad cos my fren actually told us what the interview was about beforehand although it was supposed to be like top secret.. so we just pretended that we didnt know anything... it started like half an hour late and we were waiting in the waiting room ... then there was this year 2 guy sat sandwiched between the three of us at some corner seat and i think he quite cham.. cos he had to talk to all three of us and we were all quite talkative.. i think all the noise from the whole room came from the four of us... yak yak yak yak yakyak...
the interview was totally nonsense in my opinion.. ask us to draw a picture that you think best represent u n u got one minute to explain it ... and guess wat i drew.. i drew coffee bean cos i read serene's post on the squadboard that morning though i noe it was a long ago post... .. after that split into two groups n have a mini auction game... one grp gotta send a representative each to the front and negotiate with the other representative to "fight" for that plot of land...when its up for auction... anyway.. i got paired against idy and the results were horrible... hahah cos we sounded more like informal bargaining than formal negotiating hahah ... well... the results will be out tonight but i have strong feelings that i wun get into it...
speaking of tonight, tonight i m going to stay at idy's cousin's hall to play mahjong and other wateva games... guess it will be fun .. just the thought of it makes me smile.. oops i think i will really screw my ismt mid term... well better do some revision after lunch.. oh yah i know i promise to upload some other photos soon.. i will do it asap okae... erm well i have the time ... n well my usb decides to work.... occasionally...

Smooth week
last week's a not bad week... checked my mailbox before went to campus on thursday n received kianhuat's letter... so excited that i read it on the bus n den i kept smiling to myself cos some parts were rather farnie .. could see ppl staring at me on the bus... but who cares it was a start of a perfect day or almost perfect day... was supposed to do an english language group presentation on low cost airlines ... n it went smoothly thank god man... we weren't exactly what i would considered perfectly coordinatd but nthg especially wrong happened that is good enuff and the tutor didnt exactly gave me bad comments just some areas to improve on... hahah n i dun consider them to be bad comments .... now i m beginning to like english language tutorials, its actually quite fun when u dun have assignments to do...
N after that , got to go for some interview for the business elite program in the evening... the topic was dineyland in shanghai. comment. wasnt an especially hard topic for group interview just that it was more of what i would call a quarrel.... n the ppl me n my fren, erica were against were like speaking so slowly n keep repeating their points... totally demoralised after that but still happie =) cos i got in still... unexpectedly....
oh and thanks to gavin for treating us to lunch , almost twice... but dun spend all ur money so fast arhs still beginning of the month only....
then on saturday went to the AIESEC gathering for the entire day... was okay... nothing much bored me but nthg much especially interests me either...but i left early...oh the only thing worth mentioning is perhaps i finally think i saw a guy whom i heard oso came back from singapore too... but didnt get the chance to tok to him maybe next time... at least now i noe how he looks like....
Sunday was my date with Idy...was fun.... went out with her to Tseun Wan to get our hair cut , and in the end highlighted too... i had purple-red on top n brown at the ends and she had red on top n purple below .... but i think that lady cut my sides a bit too short, hoping that it will grow soon n fast .... isnt used to it ... but i guess it will take at least like 2 or 3 more weeks to grow until my optimal hairstyle .... i will wash it more from now on.. so it will grow faster.. hahah or at least thats what i think...... my dad didnt even say a single word about my hair when i returned home though my mum exclaimed " eh ur highlight ur hair arhs !" haahhaha maybe my dad is in shock to comment i dunno or maybe he dun notice the difference but couldnt be i thought that the change was rather significant ... (janice if u reading this ... its not like the last time i highlight now more color hahah much much more)....
then came back home n met Weixi on Msn .. so happy... gald to know that she's doing well...

then on saturday went to the AIESEC gathering for the entire day... was okay... nothing much bored me but nthg much especially interests me either...but i left early...oh the only thing worth mentioning is perhaps i finally think i saw a guy whom i heard oso came back from singapore too... but didnt get the chance to tok to him maybe next time... at least now i noe how he looks like....
Sunday was my date with Idy...was fun.... went out with her to Tseun Wan to get our hair cut , and in the end highlighted too... i had purple-red on top n brown at the ends and she had red on top n purple below .... but i think that lady cut my sides a bit too short, hoping that it will grow soon n fast .... isnt used to it ... but i guess it will take at least like 2 or 3 more weeks to grow until my optimal hairstyle .... i will wash it more from now on.. so it will grow faster.. hahah or at least thats what i think...... my dad didnt even say a single word about my hair when i returned home though my mum exclaimed " eh ur highlight ur hair arhs !" haahhaha maybe my dad is in shock to comment i dunno or maybe he dun notice the difference but couldnt be i thought that the change was rather significant ... (janice if u reading this ... its not like the last time i highlight now more color hahah much much more)....
then came back home n met Weixi on Msn .. so happy... gald to know that she's doing well...
well i wish everyone well... next week going to be an unpleasant week i forsee....got midterm for ISMT .. sobz sobz okay need to go for lessons soon ...
