Interesting day

Event 1
Was dismissed at 1320 today so i gotta go home n rest n change to get back to campusby 1800 for the AIESEC interview... so went to the bus stop n it was like pouring outside... the weather isnt exactly pretty these days but anyway there was this monkey squatting at the bus stop... thought that it was quite adorable at first.. but then..... a girl who was munching on some food happened to walked past it n den the monkey jumped onto her shoulder n snatched the food from her... was quite scary actually cos i witnessed the whole process.... n the girl was like in total shock. She started phoning her frens n screaming that she got attacked by a monkey n i think her frens thought that she was joking... then a lot of ppl including me at the bus stop started to whip out our handphones n take pictures of the monkey but i didnt dare to go near it cos it wontbe pleasant if it started to grab my phone too... well suddenly it seems like we were a much of little kids at the zoo......

Event 2
so at six i went back to campus for the interview.. n they took one full hour asking tonnes of question n we had an individual interview plus a group interview... n they asked farnie questions n oso current issues... i was considered lucky ... i was asked in the past six months what was one major world event that impacted me the most... that was okae....i said Hurricane Katrina... but i heard that some other ppl they got questions like : Is Bush a good leader?"........ well so i managed past it but then bad luck starts to befall me once my interview was over... needed to take the bus back home n transfer to another bus to go for japanese lesson... i was sitting at the last row ,the corner seat of the lower level of a double decker bus, then after maybe two stops or so... i smelled some kind of farnie smell... like the aftermath of a fireworks display.... n den the bus engine died...wat the hell lor.... we were like in the middle of no where ... where everywhere is just trees and turns cos its like a hill... how bad can it get.... took forever for another bus to stop n pick us up .... well the only thing i can possibly rejoice over is perhaps that the bus didnt explode...

Went to visit KianHuant's blog just now to check whether he received my present... glad to know that it has landed safely into the hands of KianHuat and i m so glad that it arrived right on the day of his bdae.....*beams*...

Today I had or rather my whole hse had a major bugs extermination exercise we moved all the furniture about... n try to track down the bugs.... wasnt of much help but at least we did something if they appear again.... we will do something drastic...... till then.......we will just wait...

Went to the academy for performing arts to watch the sound of music tonight.... was actually forced to go by my aunt who says that its high time for me to learn some art n cultural appreciation especially for someone who is taking business.. cos she says that i can then have common topics with all "levels" of people.... okay but i didnt regret going...

it was full house heard that it was pretty difficult to get the tickets... n my aunt treated me n my sis to it so I was thankful...wasnt the least expensive tickets but wasnt the most either... but good enough to get a reasonable view on the performers...

I like all the songs that they sang, they had good vocals man... and the tune is still in my head right now....though they say that many acts were cut but it was good enuff for me ...... maybe i will learn to like art n culture if i attend more stage performance....

and my sis actuaklly stepped on a snail on the way there... it went "crack" and then she looked back and saw this matter that laid still at the pavement was quite gross.... poor snail...

Bugs

I hatebugs. I really do. Dunnno why and dunno where they come from suddenly my house there appears to be some kinda invasion by some small little black insects.. me and my sis called them full stop bugs... they are like made up of two dots .. one big one for their front body n a small black dot for their back body... and den the biggest of them are about 2 mm (maximum) but they just crawl around and stick onto something... dunno what they want... i dunno what they feed on but i really hate their presence... they are going to make me go crazy soon... i really hope they will disappear but i doubt so cos they seem to be ard there for quite some time now n no matter what our whole family do they seem to come back in the end... dunno whats so attractive at my place... yucks... can somemone tell me what i can do... !!!

Mid-autumn festival

Today's mid autumun festival and there's an extra public holiday tomolo in hk ..kinda glad cos then i can catch up with all the lectures and tutorials that have been going on for the past two weeks... first time spending mid autumn festival in hk... kinda weird not going out with frens or smthg...like no more lanterns and no candles seems like i am really growing up... looks like there will b fewer chances to play with these things from now on... kinda sad... but people have to grow up eventually i guess....well at least i have a childhood n smthg to remember about... i hate growing up....really all the responsibilites and stuffs.. i wish i can turn the clock...


Watched a documentary movie last night about 911 the flight that fought back.... felt really sad bout it.... it was bout the plane that eventually crashed into the grounds of pennsylvania.. how the people on board phoned their family on the grounds and their family told them that world trade towers have been hit and the passengers on board all knew that eventually they will end up dying too and probably crashed into some building as well... n they decided to try overcome the hijackers with boiling water but i guess they all succeeded too late... Its rather weird that all those passengers on board were like really rich humans like CEO of company or wateva regional directors and probably the poorest of them all was this psychology university student... maybe its like LOST... n then they interviewed the instructor who taught that terrorist how to fly a plane at the flying school... and oso a martial art teacher who taught him the most effective way to overcome someone with just a small knife... i wonder how they must be feeling ? gulity?? but guess they didnt expect that too...and all the people who phoned their relatives, the most common sentence was " I love you " well i guess people will only show their appreciation for their love ones only when they know that they dun have the chance to do so anymore. Just like me... i guess .. hope someone else will learnt it earlier....

Just had my first economics tutorial.. and it was horrible...the tutor is from China i guess though some humans sae that he was from Japan but i doubt it cos his name sure doesnt look like he is jap.. but either way he is totally horrible.. i supposed he was trying to speak in English..but somehow the words that came out of his mouth was a series of alien language that doesnt seem to me as jap, eng , mandarin, or cantonese and neither was it a mixture.. and the whole class cannot understand what the hell he was tryng to say at all...i have heard mainland ppl speak english before.. but none that i have come across is as bad as him....at least i will be able to detect one sentence or at least a complete word once in a while..but for him... i doubt i heard ten proper words during the whole tutorial...guess i gotta do quite a lot of self studying for econs.. but luckily the chapters r those that i have studied b4 .. so its not too bad for me.. now i deeply appreciate ms ng puay san's tutorial class.......

First entry.

Entry number one in my blog after a long delay. First, I wanna say thanks to my sis for giving me like some kind of assistance but hardly any. Second, I owe it to ZhiQi for hurrying me last week via email so I quickly set this thingy up so that I wun feel too gulity when i reply her...

Well I guess thats all for credits.. life in hk is kinda weird to me still, maybe cos i m still not used to people around me speaking cantonese instead of Singlish n Mandarin, kinda miss it cos i cant use certain terms to describe my feelings like shiok, song bo , suay man, cham arhs, thingy, chim , all the larhs, lohs, lehzs, arhs...... etc etc... got to appreciate Singlish all of a sudden.. and my cantonese is not that power in comparison to all those humans here.. i guess i need more time to adjust to the new surroundings... another thing that i m still not used to is the compactness of the hk buildings... maybe cos last time i got one whole apartment to myself and now my only assets at my hse is my upper decker of the bed that me and my sis shared and two levels of a bookshelf....and my hse's kitchen in hk is equivalent to the size of the toilet and probably ten steps is all that is needed to measure the length of my place... but it is still better than the situation of the university halls thats why i chose not to stay at them.. they only have like one common toilet with four cubicles for the entire level which is made up of about 30-40 rooms of double or triple occupancy.. so much for land scarcity.... maybe i will upload some pics next time..

now i spent most of my free time at the campus computer barn so i willl enter new entries and reply anyone's email quite often..... haha and here's my timetable upload it too like ZQ so that if i forget i will come online n see.. for me its the third day of semester for me, still trying to know some more ppl and like the sims trying to make some family frens.... Hope that all my frens in Singapore are doing well and alive.....
